Τα 56α μουσικά βραβεία Γκράμι (Grammy Awards) απονεμήθηκαν σήμερα τα ξημερώματα (ώρα Ελλάδος) στο Λος Άντζελες σε μία τελετή που διήρκεσε 3,5 ώρες και μεταδόθηκε ζωντανά από το αμερικανικό τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο CBS. \r\n\r\nΤα βραβεία Γκράμι αποτελούν το σημαντικότερο γεγονός στην παγκόσμια μουσική βιομηχανία και διαθέτουν αντίστοιχο κύρος με τα κινηματογραφικά Όσκαρ. Αφορούν, δε, 82 κατηγορίες.\r\n\r\nΑρχικά ονομάζονταν Βραβεία Γραμμοφώνου (Gramophone Awards) και θεσμοθετήθηκαν από τη Δισκογραφική Ακαδημία, μία ένωση των αμερικανών επαγγελματιών που δραστηριοποιούνται στο χώρο της δισκογραφίας.\r\n\r\nΤο βραβείο Γκράμι για το καλύτερο άλμπουμ της χρονιάς κέρδισε το συγκρότημα από τη Γαλλία Daft Punk με το άλμπουμ του Random Access Memories. Το συγκρότημα ήταν ο μεγάλος νικητής της βραδιάς αφού έφυγε από την τελετή με πέντε βραβεία (καλύτερου τραγουδιού για το “Get Lucky”, καλύτερης εμφάνισης ποπ συγκροτήματος, καλύτερου άλμπουμ dance/electronica μουσικής και καλύτερης επεξεργασίας ήχου.\r\n\r\nΤο ντουέτο της ραπ Macklemore & Ryan Lewis παρέλαβε τέσσερα Γκράμι: καλύτερου νέου καλλιτέχνη, καλύτερης ερμηνείας ραπ, καλύτερου τραγουδιού ραπ (Thrift Shop) και καλύτερου άλμπουμ ραπ (The Heist).\r\n\r\nΓκράμι για το καλύτερο άλμπουμ R&B παρέλαβε η Αλίσια Κις για το “Girl on Fire”.\r\nΓκράμι για το καλύτερο άλμπουμ της κάουντρι μουσικής παρέβαλε ο Κέισι Μάσγκρεϊβ για το “Same Trailer Different Park”.\r\n\r\nΗ 17χρονη Νεοζηλανδή Λορντ βραβεύτηκε με δύο Γκράμι: καλύτερου ποπ τραγουδιού της χρονιάς και καλύτερης ποπ σόλο εμφάνισης για το “Royals”.\r\n\r\nΓκράμι καλύτερου ροκ άλμπουμ της χρονιάς παρέλαβαν οι Led Zeppelin για το “Celebration Day”, καλύτερης ροκ εμφάνισης οι Imagine Dragons για το Radioactive, καλύτερου εναλλακτικό άλμπουμ οι Vampire Weekend για το “Modern Vampires Of The City” και για τα καλύτερα φωνητικά σε ποπ άλμπουμ βραβεύτηκε ο Bruno Mars για το “Unorthodox Jukebox”.\r\n\r\nΣτην τελετή εμφανίστηκαν και οι δύο εναπομείναντες Beatles -οι Πολ Μακάρτνεϊ και Ρίνγκο Σταρ- σε μία σπάνια κοινή τους
